Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Pliko ("the app", "the service"), operated by DAISHI TECH PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore ("we", "our"). By using Pliko, you agree to these terms. If you don't, don't use the app.

We've kept this document short and human. If anything is unclear, ask: contact@daishitech.com.


1. Your account

You need an account to use Pliko. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information when signing up and to use the app only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pliko. If you're between 13 and 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these terms with you.

Pliko is a tool for archiving publicly available posts you've encountered on services like X (Twitter) and Reddit. You're responsible for:

3. Your content stays yours

Anything you create in Pliko — labels, notes, your personal organisation of saved posts — belongs to you. We claim no ownership over it. We use the content you save only to provide the service to you (storing, indexing, searching) and not for any other purpose. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.

5. Pricing and plans

Pliko offers a free tier with usage limits and a Pro tier with higher limits and additional features. Subscriptions to the Pro tier are managed through your Apple ID via the App Store. Apple's terms govern billing, refunds, and renewals — we cannot modify those.

Quota numbers are documented inside the app and may change with reasonable notice as the cost of the underlying APIs evolves.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but Pliko is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uptime, that the source platforms (X, Reddit, etc.) will always be reachable, or that every post will always be retrievable. The service may be suspended for maintenance, updated, or in rare cases discontinued. If we shut Pliko down, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your archive.

7. Your data and account deletion

You can export your full archive at any time via Settings → Export as JSON. You can delete your account permanently via Settings → Delete account, which removes all your data from our systems within 30 days. If you can't access the in-app option, email contact@daishitech.com and we'll handle it manually.

8. Termination

You can stop using Pliko whenever you want. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections that should reasonably survive termination (e.g. content ownership, disclaimers, governing law) survive it.

9. Disclaimers

Pliko is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that it will meet your expectations, or that any errors will be corrected.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DAISHI TECH PTE. LTD., its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of Pliko. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD 50.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll notify you in-app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last revised. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
