Privacy Policy

Pliko ("we", "our", "the app") is operated by DAISHI TECH PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

We have designed Pliko to collect as little personal data as possible while still giving you a useful tweet archive.

What we collect

1. Account data

When you sign up, we collect:

• Email address — used for login, account recovery, and important service notifications.
• Authentication identifier — provided by Apple, Google, or our own auth service depending on how you sign in.
• Display name and avatar (optional, only if provided by your sign-in provider).

2. Saved tweet data

When you save a tweet, we store:

• The tweet's URL, text, author name, author handle, author avatar, and timestamp.
• Any media URLs referenced by the tweet.
• The thread context and quoted tweet (if any) at the time of saving.
• Your personal labels and notes attached to that tweet.

This data is publicly available content on X/Twitter at the time of saving. We store our own copy so the tweet remains accessible to you even if it is later deleted on X.

3. Usage data

We do not use third-party analytics SDKs. We do not track your behaviour for advertising.

We may log basic technical errors (e.g., failed network requests) to diagnose bugs, but these logs do not contain your saved tweets, notes, or personal content.

4. Apple TestFlight (beta period only)

While Pliko is in TestFlight beta, Apple may collect crash logs and basic device info as part of standard TestFlight functionality. This is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect your phone number.
• We do not collect your contacts.
• We do not collect your location.
• We do not collect your photo library — except files you explicitly download via the in-app save button.
• We do not sell or share your data with advertisers, ever.
• We do not use your data to train AI models.

Where your data is stored

All Pliko data is stored on Supabase infrastructure (Postgres database + object storage), located in the eu-central-1 region. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II compliant and uses encryption at rest and in transit.

Your rights

• Export your data at any time using the in-app "Export as JSON" feature in Settings. The export includes everything you've saved.
• Delete your account by emailing us (see contact below). We will delete all your data within 30 days. There is no on-device account deletion button yet — we will add one before public launch.
• Edit or remove individual tweets directly in the app at any time.

Children

Pliko is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we will notify users via email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Pliko after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
